TONTRAKUL is a &quot;Modern Isaan&quot; musical project, created by Tontrakul Kaewyong. His style is traditional Isaan music a modern twist. He hails from Chaiyaphum, in the Isaan region of Thailand, and is proud of his cultural roots. Utilizing his mesmerizing music skills, he plays traditional Isaan instruments, with a backdrop of modern genres such as Drum and Bass, Future Bass, Ambient House, and Worldbeat, all the while retaining its beautiful Isaan essence. Tontrakul is the new generation of Isaan artist. He is dedicated to Isaan music and culture - his roots. He brings the influence of Mor Lam through playing the Phin, Khaen and Ponglang instruments in a truly compelling spectacle.
